You'll most likely do well for a while and then lose it all. Quit while you're ahead.

Yes stocks in general are a fucking scam if you're trying to trade them actively, first you start with the safe shit then you start getting encouraged to invest in more shit and then next thing you know you don't even have money in the bank, it's all just in stocks.
Then line go down.

not a prank, the problem is you will continue to reinvest the whole amount thinking you can't go wrong until the market turns on you.

Here's a tip. Pick a timeframe and at this time frame religiously remove 50% of your earnings from the account. This is your profit. Continue investing what is left over.

You are in the green only once you actually take profits. Remember this.

I was planning on doing this. I'm still green as fuck in trading but when i was younger i used to religiously play holdem on pokerstars for real money and after quitting it i had profited overall. Do with this info as you wish.

If you are a average person who didn't go to university to get a degree in economics or finance. If you do not work actively in the financial sector. If you have no clue what you're doing and it feels like you are betting. Then get the fuck out.

Honestly, people need to stop thinking the stock market is 'easy money'. it is not.

Can you make money? Absolutely, if you have the proper knowledge and skills to do so. However, if you are an average person then you will most likely not make more than you put in.

This is the undeniable truth. take it or leave it. There is no such thing as a free lunch.
