so we're probably careening towards a case of hyperinflation. maybe mild, maybe extreme. time will tell. so what does this mean for bitcoin, eth and the whole of crypto? well shit is gonna be far more expensive. why? because the same fiat that was used to determine a price prior to all this bullshit, will be worth much less than it was before. ask yourself, are you getting less worth more? or are you getting more worth less? its pretty obvious you are receiving more worth less than it was before. so the same $7k bitcoin in January, will not be the same $7k bitcoin in April because the values have changed. Therefore bitcoin and eth will eventually, presumably following the halving, match the offset and readjust accordingly, which will inevitably push the price upward. because that same 7k in January would more or less equal say 8-9k presently. so yes, ETH will probably go to 1k again, probably much further to be honest but the value of that 1k will be available to a lot more people through this rising tide situation.

Depends on how long they take to release 2.0. If they don't before the end of the year they'll just be outpaced by alternative platforms. In normal terms they should be already falling behind in price growth when compared to their alternatives, but inertia is keeping them alive, that inertia is not going to last forever.
If 2.0 delivers on its promises, and delivers early, the competition is pretty much dead.
