The point is to get into US oil, and in that case USO is a good choice as any. When CAD is worth 0.1 USD, a "mere" $5 oil when real oil price is $50 is still giving us a quick 10x. WTI, XOM and KOS are better picks, sure, and RTX is a solid pick in any case to just 'get out of CAD'.
