this is the most retarded argument for chainlink ive ever heard.
3 years.... is 3 years long at all?
Atari had a 10 year head start on Nintendo
Nintendo had a 10 year head start on Sony
How fucking deluded are stinkers?
>muh 3 yearz

is 3 years really that long a time? if someone came up with a better more cost effective oracle solution tomorrow, would people go
>oh but chainlink tried really hard for 3 years to build a network :((((( i dont want to wait 3 years again

Except first mover advantage is paramount for inherent security guarantees via the network effect. You are correct anon, first mover advantage isn’t really critical with traditional businesses, however, we are not investing in a business, rather a network or protocol. Said network will have underlying security guarantees based on its previously established network effect. Devs understood this, you saw it first hand with ETH and BTC. LINK appears to be next.

This is something that could be evaluated with a 10-K...you’re missing my point entirely or just shitposting at this point. All you have is the network and it’s underlying security. Said security is influenced by # of participants and quality of said participants. This is called a network effect anon

I can tell you've never worked in software. Even "basic" things have a lot of kinks to work out.

>> No.18562047

Link buyers immediately become the equivalent of commission based wageslaves, posting about link, thinking about link, agonizing about link 24/7. And you do it below the owners of the project. You are the cattle of the entire link workforce. You are laughed at as the link devs make 6 fig salaries while throwing their “investor” cattle pennies.

But let’s talk numbers. Since let’s say Oct 2017 there have been 928 days since then. The total value of a 10k stack is ~$30k (generous after deducing tax). Assuming only 12 hours a day of link shilling, agonizing, research etc (again, being generous) that is:
$30000/(928*12) = $2.70/hr

Yes, you read that right. You have been working for 3 years straight, no vacation no break, for $2.70 an hour. Now seethe.

Let’s think about this logically. Link enthusiasts bought 10k link in 2017. That investment is now worth ~30k. That is 30k over 3 years... less than the salary of a fast food worker.
