"El" (Father of Heaven / Saturn) and his major son: "Hadad" (Father of Earth / Jupiter), are symbolized both by the bull, and both wear bull horns on their headdresses.[22][23][24][25]

In the Ugaritic Ba‘al cycle, Ēl is introduced dwelling on (or in) Mount Lel (Lel possibly meaning "Night") at the fountains of the two rivers at the spring of the two deeps.

Yahweh[Notes 1] was the national god of the kingdoms of Israel (Samaria) and Judah.[3] His origins reach at least to the early Iron Age and apparently to the Late Bronze,[4] and in the oldest biblical literature he is a storm-and-warrior deity[5] who leads the heavenly army against Israel's enemies.[6] At that time the Israelites worshipped Yahweh alongside a variety of Canaanite gods and goddesses, including El, Asherah and Baal,[7] but in time El and Yahweh became conflated,[8]

that's not capitalism that's corporate welfare, anon. it's the "bailed out" part that needs to be emphasized here. im a staunch fiscal conservative and liberatarian and even *i* am starting to think there are some things like Boeing that need to be straight-up nationalized. this should be done for pretty much anything that is LEGITIMATELY (i repeat: legitimately) "too big to fail". some things we call that are not actually too big to fail, and thus should be allowed to fail.

if anything it should be the opposite. the old trees should die and provide sustenance and nutrients into the soil for the small sprouts to grow up big and strong. new opportunities for small businesses to add more competition to the mix and get in on businesses they were previously unable to, for pennies on the dollar. the CEO's of shit like Boeing should lose everything and get turbofucked because they actually fucked up and so their risk should have consequences.

no im not running for president.

The oil industry is moving to shutdown. Gasoline sells at spot for $20/bbl in Singapore, $8/bbl in Chicago, $35/bbl in New York and Houston, $14/bbl on the US West Coast and around $20/bbl in Europe. Prices are low because inventories of gasoline are piling up. Soon the capacity to store the product will be exhausted. I doubt any refiner will step up and pay more for crude next week or in May unless product demand picks up. Instead, shutdowns will spread, further cutting demand for crude.
Perhaps it is time to contemplate a world with much less petroleum activity. A pilot for one of the cargo carriers (the only airline business operating near capacity note the following:

"We landed in Beijing and were the only moving aircraft the entire time we taxied in, dropped our cargo, reloaded, and taxied out. Saw 2 other aircraft moving on the ground as we took off. But that was it. Literally 600+ aircraft parked in every square inch of concrete on that airport. Beijing (and most airports like it) are down to 1 runway, with all additional being used as parking lots for aircraft."

Is the oil industry different? Seems to me the article could carry a subtitle: Rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic."

SAVA looks really nice right now. Now that the one year open label study is on, and filing is out about the off-the-shelf dilution, the path is very clear all the way till marketing the drug. I think they will a dilute a little after the phase 2b results, then after the open label trial. The 200m is also much more than they will need for a phase 3 trial. I think half of that should be enough. So I expect little dilution altogether.
As for the science part, I am quite convinced that this will be the first-line treatment in the end. The CRTX drug is still surefire, but I think herpes is still the first one to do the damage, and also it is probably needed to set up the place to even allow bacterial infection. Also, there are possibly other bacteria as well alongside gingivalis. The fact that PTI-125 helps receptors releasing the previously bound amyloid beta is very powerful. Amyloid beta is actually one of the main defenders against pathogens in the brain, and they will be free to do their jobs.
However, how filamin A gets misfolded exactly in the first place is still a mystery to me. Herpes has proteins which mess up the cytoskeleton and also disables chaperone proteins which would repair filamin A in normal circumstances, but in a cell with latent herpes infection, they can't. Anyway, currently I am thinking of just holding through everything for a few years.

no. let more shit fail. if something is REALLY fucking important like "OH MY GOD WE FUCKING NEED PLANES FOR THIS COUNTRY TO SURVIVE WE FUCKING *NEEEEED* PLANES DUDE!" then it shouldn't be a for-profit business, and you're now into national security. if we in fact fucking NEEEEED it and can't even let it fail even once.

most things should not be like that. it pisses me off that the government essentially allows huge corporations to take ridiculous risks and then when they inevitably get fucked on that risk, they lose the bet they made, voila the government bails them out. so there's no real risk, is there? and if there's no real risk in a for-profit business, why WOULDNT you overleverage as much as humanly possible? why not? if you win you get even more rich, if you lose you still win. we live in a world where the people with all of the money can take the biggest risks and the taxpayer will cover them every time, it's insane. am i wrong?

i really hope you're joking, comparing red robin and fucking boeing. the point is that no one should get bailouts in the common sense, you either fail or you're legitimately too important and belong to the People instead. if this was a strict rule people would actually prepare for it instead of being assholes with all the debt like the currently do.

That's a nice entry. The CEO's latest entry was about $5.50 as I recall. I was thinking we should hit 25 by summer, but I suppose the buying fever has subsided now with the chinese virus, so maybe half of that is more realistic if we don't hit the secondary endpoints. The most optimistic scenario is that we hit it of course, since the reduction of inflammation always comes with cognitive benefits, but the duration and sample size might be too little to show the effect (it was just an exploratory endpoint anyway). It depends mostly on the within subject variability of the test. For example my guess is that it is possible to achieve a few points in difference in the mental test scores in each patient in theory, but it is likely that the variance of these tests is more than that, and we won't reach statistical significance.

there's no such thing as "really volatile". the ATR exists and you can change your position size accordingly to fit your risk. also maybe consider not trading oil if it's so crazy. also while we're on the subject: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gEYJ6Vumok

So I want a portion of my portfolio to be income generating assets such as dividend stocks or REIT's and then the rest is capital for my swing trading which the profits from that will be reinvested into more income producing assets and so on. Problem is I dont really know anything about REIT's and dividend stocks so I'm thinking would the best bet be a dividend ETF? And is there a REIT ETF's?

I got around 50k€ in savings.
I make around 3600€ after tax/insurance per month.
My expenses are pretty low since I'm renting an appartment my parents own, but I wanna buy something bigger in 1 or 2 years. Most likely with a mortgage.

I thought about 5-7k € this year.

Stop loss for dummy is:
- Select max position per trade (based on how many trades you want to do during one time period)
- Estimate entry price
- Estimate stop (e.g. using resistance or support)
- Compute shares to allocate to the position such that risk is no more than your risk level (up to 2% if swing trading, maybe 0.5% if day trading, 5-10-20% if core trading depending on time horizon)
-- risk level is (abs(entry - stop) * shares) / equities

Survey? I think I missed that if there was something.
GALT postponed the trial start again, as expected. Now end of Q2 is the possible start, and the buyout theory still holds, but I am quite disappointed in that they don't take a role in treating the wuhan coronavirus. It would have been safe, cheap and effective. They could truly shine, but no... Anyway, there was a nature article recently about the working mechanisms of galectin-3, and to me it showed how important is that belapectin doesn't bind into the receptor site, but a different domain, where it modulates the receptor binding affinity. This is the right approach, and the main thing making it a wonderdrug. Shame really, that they can't show its real value.

My guess is management has plans to sell after the P3 launch. Which is right when the rights offering gets to long term capital gains rates. They are so laughably apathetic about advancing any indication other than Nash that I speculate none of it matters as it will be sold anyway.
