Jesus O, this floorplan is a joke right?

>bedroom so cramped it would be impossible to make the bed
> no room for bedside table
> no fucking wardrobe. where do you keep clothes?
>bedroom door in front of the couch. where is the TV supposed to go?
>where's the dishwasher?
>big piece of space is just an empty useless room at the front door

looks comfy although I'd break the bedroom wall, throw out the bed & sofa & eating table, I ain't having nobody over, and instead have a big space for a PC desk and some workout equipment
I can sleep on the carpet, hard surfaces are good for your back

It works like this in America

Step 1 get enough credit to get a mortgage.

Step 2 put some cuck in your property to pay the mortgage and collect his equity

Step 3 get another mortgage and repeat step 2

So basically housing in America is so expensive because no one actually owns it and anyone who pays for a home got a shit deal and should be laughed at.

Good news is this ponzi game just got fucked.

Cov-19 = no one pays rent and this means all the landlords get foreclosed flooding the market with housing and crashing prices.

I might consider buying a house in a year if it reflects actual market value and not some inflated ponzi price

>One unit
OP you fucked up.

>Bought pic related - at the time a 4-unit(each 2/2) building in a rapidly gentrifying part of town
>got it right out of college with an inheritance
>Bought for under market value 3 years ago, would have appreciated if I just sat on it and rented it out as-is but I made some improvements to make it much nicer
>Turned the 2 1st-floor units into a 4 1/1 units rather than 2 2/2s, doubling my cash flow instantly by throwing in a wall
>updated floors, counters, AC, even put in a coded gate for the back parking spaces
>lived in the top unit with my gf and now fiancee because that's more than enough room for us, rented out the other 5 units
>Tenants have told me they're willing to pay higher rent because "I live there and I give a shit" which makes it easier to collect too

>As soon as mortgage rates fell, got a refinance and pulled out 150k in equity(1.5x annual take-home pay for me)
>I work freelance so needed a hedge in case I fucked up or lose some of my clients

Luckily my clients have stayed on and I haven't had to evict anyone yet because I rent to yuppies that are all working from home, so I should be straight through all this, but if it keeps up I guarantee I'm going to have to kick someone out.

I understand your point but he's getting good mileage out of his money. Most folks as fortunate as him to get a bucket load of money can't say the same. Let him have this.
