Currently I'm just weighting overnight long/short, intraday long and intraday short based on the expected returns of the high/low/close of the next day. Anything more I could be doing?

Given the conditions in SF it should be a post-apocalyptic wasteland right now and it just isn't. The states that'll get really hammerfucked are the south. Given their lack of density, they should've been able to weather it done if they'd shut down earlier and obeyed social distancing, but they didn't and they aren't. Fees have nothing to do with it, schwab just has a clunky interface for real time trading. They’re supposed to be buying TDA so hopefully they’ll get to use their active trading software but that could take a long time or be held up by the SEC.

Schwab and TDA both don’t have feed for the basic stuff, except I occasionally get a .01 fee that I think goes to the exchanges and not to schwab. Some mutual funds may have fees though, or fancy stuff like commodities/futures trading or direct access to foreign markets.

It's a single data point.
I know that when spy is in an uptrend, opens with a gap and fades back over the day then it almost always bounces off the last day's close. It probably has to do with some weird market internals and market making but I would never call that TA nor am I convinced that this is universal for all markets and will continue to work in the future. All the fancy shit like indicators, elliot waves,.... are memes and overfitting.
