op, have you entertained the idea that not everyone will have a job to return to? that maybe a fuck ton of business cannot keep themselves and their employees afloat for however much longer this entire shut down takes? we're staring a potential 32% unemployment in the face and the finger of time is slowly pulling the trigger. unfortunately the next two years will serve as a very long and bleak answer to your question

out of everyone currently unemployed, i would guess that the majority would indeed have a job. yes there would still be people out of work, but 32% sounds a bit extreme. maybe the sweater folders at the gap would be SOL, but I dont think it's that bleak.
