3 x 290 all sapphires, 2x reference, 1x tri-x)
headless rig
running 3 months now with tri-x running 1.5month

checked today and it has not been running for 10 hours

its up in windows, but just sitting there
start the miner, one card wont start, the tri-x

restart the PC
start the miner
all is fine
after 10 min, while I am trying to set up logging for cgwatcher, cgminer closses

restart, start it up again, watch
after several minutes temperature on tri-x card starts to drop to around 29C
all other things seems fine
then some text flashes about restarting card I think, and cgminer closes

restart
lower from 1000mhz core clock to 940
lost about 40 kh/s per card but all seems fine now
but whats really really freaky is that the card has zero rejects now.. wtf
also its the only card that is out of the box 1000 mhz
and has awesome temps, but seems it cant really take it all in
or platinum seasonic giving up, or the riser acting funny, though so far I think its the card

how secure and reliable is crypto rush?

is it safe to have some coins of a shitcoin waiting in a limbo for weeks for a pump over there?

I usually deposited my shit from the wallet when the pump began which of course led to always missing the whole happening.

also, is crypto rush a busy exchange? I tried mintpal but that exchange has no volume at all.

I don't know why everyone is hyping mintpal, it seems almost dead.

Even if I lose them, I lose 0.2BTC at most, so whatever.
It's far less annoying than dealing with 30 different desktop wallets.

mainly the fact that black suits who typically go around airports looking for cash smugglers are being told to look out for casascius coins, the things that got the guy who was producing them to receive a cease and desist letter from the fed. the fed wants to know how much money is leaving the country, and they apparently see bitcoin as money. what's really suspicious is how casascius coins are only denominated in 1 or 0.5 BTC. why would the fed bother to look for a measly thousand or so dollars?

So... someone was on one of these threads the other days claiming Nvidias upcoming high end Maxwells will be doing 1.5 M/hash. He provided no proof of his claim and I haven't been able to find any info on the mining capability of these upcoming cards.

Does anyone have any inside info?

>> No.184227

that figure is from doing the math, scaling up performance per watt from the 750 ti to what should be an 860/870.

I know the main selling point of Maxwells so far is energy efficiency, as in hashes per watt.

Fair enough. I can't find any info on a release date or price point?

I want to build a mining rig but I've been holding off to see what nvidia is going to roll out. I'll kick myself if I dump $$$ into 280x's and then the new Maxwells come out with twice the hash and half the power consumption with a better cost/profit ratio

>> No.184251

>>184222
Nah they will be running at about 300kh/s per card but they will be much more energy efficient.

Possibly irrelevant if Scrypt Asics are released.
