so i'm new to this shit and i've been having fun buying the news and watching shit go up 10% immediately, then selling and hopping onto something like sqqq for a day or so, then buying back into good news rinse repeat

i don't want to get addicted to the constant jumping though as i am totally aware that the longterm growth strategy is to buy and hold. is there any science or math at all to figure out when to do that? i see companies like aapl and jnj that look like they should recover to pretty high numbers faster than other companies... is now a good time to just settle down for the "safe" longterm strategy? i'm worried the gambling will wipe me out unnecessarily and in 2 years any cash i could've made by jumping around here at the bottom will be dwarfed by what i could've made by settling in at the right time

thanks for reading my blog

We're going to see a big dip. If the market can only muster this kind of shitty volume on the positive, it means there's no real buying pressure. Everyone is waiting to see how this goes, and there's not enough bulls to drive the market upward. It will test 260 over and over again, then drop. We already played this game on Friday.

On one hand, good job for playing it as well as you have just back and forthing. But there are a LOT of good companies that have been unjustly hit by this crash that you should probably take half of the money you made at least and start getting a position in them before it gets back to their original clown world prices. I just took the profits from my fast food stocks and bolstered some other ones that are low that pay divies.

Because it's on a 50% off fire sale and because I expect a global conflict this year. With Saudi? With Russia? With China? Idk, but sub $20 oil means Marines will go invade something.

"Trump is so great the economy even goes up during a pandemic!"
Dumbfuck bulls arent realizing that he has basically ensured total monopoly of the current fortune 500 for good and destroyed what was left of american innovation. why would any investors try and find undervalued companies to buy into now? theres no point to doing anything other than dumping your cash into indexes because stocks are now simply a store of value against an inflating dollar. thats it. they will totally cease to act as smart allocation of investment to propel new companies. this is the type of "stock market" that China has. and the bailouts havent even begun. wait until this mortgage crisis hits after noone is able to pay rent. its going to be ridiculous. our economy will be diving towards third world levels but the stock market will be at all time highs

The problem is no discernible symptoms and incubation period, which rivals some of our worst diseases, on top of being air-borne.

All of the diseases you mentioned effectively need blood-to-blood contact, and ebola was easily contained once we used modern isolation methods. The only reason it was so scary is because sri lanka and other warzones couldn't keep their shit together long enough to isolate it.

People don't realize this but AIDs has been around for a lot longer than fags stabbing eachother in the ass in 20th century, going full Philadelphia. That disease has been in monkey's for at least another hundred or more years before appearing anywhere near humans so. It takes a long time for diseases to mutate which is why I still think this was made in a lab.

Regardless of how many articles Yahoo puts out saying its natural.

I think if Zombie virus spreads only through bites, then it's laughably stupid to think it gets out of it's place of origin for more than a week. If it's airborne and maybe you only show flu like symptoms for a few weeks (or no symptoms) then it's actually dangerous. I think a realistic zombie virus would have people acting like the movie "The Crazies" or like they are on bath salts. Not really slow lurching flesh eaters. But mob mentality could come into play. But they wouldn't have magic bullet resistance beyond someone hopped up on PCP. And wouldn't have some magic sniffer that can identify other zombies on sniff. It's be much more terrifying. Some zombies would be just jacking off in traffic. Others would be on rooftops shooting people, because they think everyone is a zombie. Much scarier. No way to tell who is justifiably paranoid and who is infected.
