Nope. Mortgage will be deferred and tenants will be forced to spend their NEETbux to pay rent. Then real estate will balloon 3x after corona blows over because of massively depressed interest rates and renters will be forced to live with roommates if they don't already due to skyrocketing rent. I was about to say....my bank already reached out to me asking if I would like to defer payment at no penalty on my commercial loans. I’m at 100% occupancy and I gave starring relationships with my tenants so I’m not worried. Crazy for a bank to reach out to me though, definitely making sure their borrowers are cared for. Feels good making $10k+ a month in passive income while everyone else panics. I guess you could say I’m quite comfy

i happen to know one of the proposals being talked about in dc for "round 2" stimulus if we need is for fed to fund banks to provide lines of credit / direct stimulus to commercial account holders.
the theory is banks already know their customers thus are better served to determine how much of available funds to provide as emergency 0% loans and or direct stimulus.
therefore having good relations with bank will pay off greatly if/when we get to that point.
