I have a job outside the service industry while attending college while I don't get a direct refund (tax credit) on my tuition I do get a tax deduction which ends up in me basically getting that tuition back because I dont make more than 40k so I go to school. Gov. Pays my tuition by reducing my tax liability and I get by OKAY.
