Any high yield dividend equities are fucking worthless since those business actually need to be operating in order to pay the dividend. GPMT is an excellent choice is you want to lose all of your money.

Why speculate? You can just look at the annual yield.
Right now leveraged meme REITs like REML still pay the highest (40% right now!) but they will likely get liquidated in the next big drop (see all of UBS ETRACS stuff: MORL MRRL HOML SMHB MLPZ MLPQ all auto-redeemed by the eternal swiss jew).

Otherwise foreign oil companies like RDS.A or gazprom pay 10%+ dividends.
