I reckon I had it back in mid-January. Started with a dry cough, and then spent about a week in bed with high fever and cold sweats, coupled with body aches and weakness. Normally very healthy and had literally never taken a sick day off work before, but this kept me off for a week. Live and work in central London and they've estimated that corona reached London in mid-January at the latest, so it's definitely feasible.

On the other hand, it's also possible it was just a bad bout of the seasonal flu. Hopefully they'll send out tests in the next couple of weeks and I can check for sure.

I have the opposite of lack of sense of smell. I'm constantly feeling smells that are not there, it's like I can't distinguish between imagining a smell and actually smelling it. I'm really sensitive when it comes to smells so when I smell something bad it's like it sticks in my nose for days.

Yeah - like I say, this was back in mid-January. I was fucked for about a week, and then still noticeably weaker for maybe 1-2 weeks more (I returned to my normal exercise/running regime, but found it more difficult). After that, I was back to normal.

When I had the symptoms paracetamol was pretty effective in reducing them, although I tried not to take it too often because I know some doctors think the fever ends more quickly if you just let your body fight it out.

I have. Im 27, and barely showing any symptoms. Started with a sore throat, then a cough, felt like taking a lot of naps(which is unusual for me), and a tiny fever for like a day. I also had some diarrhea at the start but I think that was more due to drinking a lot of beer the night before than it was COVID. Its really not that bad. I don’t usually get a fever from a cold, but i would say the overall symptoms feel like a mild cold. Entirely worth my 2 week paid quarantine. 10/10, would become infected again.

I had it. I'm okay now.
-By the 10th of march I started coughing more than usual ( I'm smoker ) so I didnt pay attention.
-By 11th, I started feeling tired, fatigue was all over my body, plus, it was hard to breath. My lungs were actually working at 75% of their capacity (body temperature was about 37ºC). -12 of march was fucked up, lungs working about 40% of their capacity, I couldn't take a deep breath without feeling a lot of pressure in my chest and I definetely had the worst night in my life, couldn't sleep (37,7ºC, not that much).
-13 like 11th
-14 my lungs were feeling nice, a little bit of pressure in my chest but nice.
-15th congs! you've survived!

>> No.18072877

>>18069486
Can you describe the "breathing problems"
I'm experiencing the same thing since the beginning of march, so I doubt it's corona or I would probably be dead already. But I can't stop thinking about what an awful coincidence to have breathing issues when a respiratory virus is going around.

>> No.18072895

So to sintetyze:
-Throat irritation
-Body temperature increasis ( feber )
-Pressure in the chest
-Lungs capacity reduced
-Fatigue
-Diarrhea
-Coughing
and I think that's all sympotems I had.

how can you really know if you got corona or not? i think i got it about a month or two ago, but we just thought it was the Flu because they said the Flu this season was "particularly aggressive" and the Flu shot wasn't working well this year.

i got a really bad fever, felt really cold even though my body was burning up, and was bedridden for at least a week. bad coughing and throat issues, crackling lungs ("rice crispy lungs"), etc. my whole family got it (brother and ~70 y/o parents), we all survived and didn't go to the hospital or anything but it kept me out of work for 2 whole weeks and i felt like it was the worst sickness i ever got.

i feel like even if i got a test now i probably couldn't know what happened back then, could i? we're all fully recovered by this point btw no one died. i kinda hope it was corona so i could rest easy knowing my family has antibodies now for it, but idk so we all just continue to do what we can to be safe like everyone else.

im not leaving my house for anything besides necessities until July, i don't care if Trump orders everyone back to work in April, i have savings and he can go fuck himself in that case.

I came back from a month in China this January. I’m pretty sure I had it and was one of the first patients to bring it to my country (maybe even patient zero). However, I never got tested because I didn’t want to be placed under quarantine.

It lasted about two weeks and honestly the only part that really sucked was the insane migraine I had for two weeks straight. Everything else was like the flu and my cough wasn’t that bad.

I will note that I occasionally have sharp breathing pains since then.
