People all say hydroxychloroquine is dangerous, but when I specifically read the sources they cite, those sources are all discussing chloroquine rather than hydroxychloroquine.

The French dude study said hydroxychloroquine's side effects are much more mild and less dangerous than those of chloroquine, while also being much more effective against the virus.

I think there may be some evidence to that claim it's safer, as if you look into chloroquine, you are explicitly told DO NOT GIVE IT TO SOMEONE TAKING AZITHROMYCIN.

But if you look at *hydroxy*chloroquine, people are saying it's MORE EFFECTIVE vs corona when combined with azithromycin.

Clearly there is some difference. Maybe it really is just a lot safer.
