Big question mark. OPEC is only part of the story. The oil price started because non-OPEC Russia broke alliance with OPEC Saudi Arabia. OPEC wanted to cut and agreed internally to do so. Then Russia said nyet. Then Saudis retaliated by dropping the price as hard as possible. Russia is unlikely to agree to anything just yet. OPEC can cut if they want but Russia and Iraq are going to continue to crank out barrels and put them in storage for future.

This is very possible. Hell medical stuff is already in short supply and we're only 2 months into this. The only upshot is that if the china results are true, after the 3rd month, the cases should start to fall and decline. But that assumes a number of things. The results accuracy, we do what they did to contain the virus. But we are behind. So I'd guess may will be the month before shit starts to decline. I just know that the whole "12 months cure" thing not doable. Under the current mess we cannot last 12 months.

No. During price war oil's price will swing around wildly as developments occur. It's the lifeblood of industry and there are a lot of countries fighting over the price of the stuff, everybody trying to scrape out some kind of an edge. Currently there is risk of a large oversupply (bad for price) but that is only because of the measures being taken to reduce/eliminate the spread of covid19. This oversupply can quickly become an undersupply when covid19 tapers off and industry ramps back up in an attempt to make up for lost time. Also, when oil price is kicking around the level where every producing country on the planet is uncomfortable, things can... happen. If oil drops below $20 and stays there for any length of time, the fight will move from boardrooms and conference calls to air strikes and invasions.

So what do if you want to take advantage of all this? Set buy orders at oil's low range and potential low pivot; be that $20, $17, if you're really thinking this is going to get terrible $10 and $5.

If you can learn your shit, which isn't hard especially if you're mathematical/logically inclined, then you shouldn't have that much trouble getting jobs in general. Really the hardest part about getting a coding job at places like FAANG/NYC/SF is passing the interview because they like to grill you on shit that you mostly don't use. At most other places, the bar is 'can you code FizzBuzz' or 'do you know what a Binary Tree/Graph/Heap/Stack is?' O Bull! My Bull! Our fearful trip is done;
The market has weather’d every rack, the prize we sought is won;
The bottom is near, opening bells I hear, the investors all exulting,
While follow eyes the steady Dow, the traders grim and daring:
But O heart! heart! heart!
O the bleeding drops of red,
Where on the bottom my Bull does lie,
Fallen cold and dead.

O Bull! My Bull! rise up and hear the bells;
Rise up—for you the SQQQ is flung—for you the bugle trills;
For you green candles and ribbon'd bailouts—for you the trade floor a-crowding;
For you they call, the swaying mass, their eager calls a-buying;
Here Bull! dear father!
This arm beneath your head;
It is some dream that on the bottom,
You've fallen cold and dead.

My Bull does not answer, his lips are pale and still;
My father does not feel my arm, he has no pulse nor will;
The trading day is o’er safe and sound, its puts all sold and done;
Circuit breakers tripped, the market slipped, comes in with bottom won;
Exult, O investors, and ring, O bells!
But I, with mournful tread,
Walk the bottom my bull does lie,
Fallen cold and dead.

There's a repo crisis that started last year, pension funds are insolvent, the government is bailing out every industry, dozens of CEOs quit their jobs in anticipation, senators sold millions in February, the unemployment websites are crashing do to load, mass layoffs haven't started, supply chain hit hasn't fully manifested yet (companies will run out of reserve stock soon), quarterly earnings are next month, hmm what else? yes there is a global pandemic.

Oh right, there's a housing bubble, student loan bubble, sub-prime auto loans. What else? OH YEAH. All growth in the market since 2009 has been fucking stock buybacks! OH RIGHT any the fucking pandemic hasn't even slammed the hospitals yet. Do you realize by this time next month the average hospital will be swamped with elderly people who are literally suffocating to death? Picture it, and the media coverage.
We haven't even priced-in all the people who will be drawing out their 401ks to pay for mortgages, rent, and food.

OH yeah, and the food shortages. OH YEAH and the national GUARD is being DEPLOYED because of the very real possibility of riots in the major cities. OH YEAH and there's going to be an Occupy Wall Street 2.0 coming that will be militantly violent with a fully built-up army of anti-Drumpf cattle manipulated by strongest anarcho-communist black block America has even seen (as a reaction to the Alt Right).

>Gommie shits who literally never worked a day in their life have no idea that trucking is more than just spinning a wheel and pressing pedals for a few hours a day
Self driving vehicles have major problems in cities because of all the obstacles, pedestrians, other cars, lights, etc. There is none of that in most of the great plains. A self driving truck doesn't need to pay a driver, have AC, give insurance benefits, never eats, never sleeps, etc. Plus, unlike self driving passenger vehicles it can "suicide" in potential collisions with passenger vehicles since the cargo will be insured. The trucking industry and supporting industries are literally the first that will go.
These trucks are already working on mining and logging camps to move freight even to the local train or highway switchyards. Self driving passenger cars are like 10 years off but self driving trucks are like 3 years away

Midwest has been taken over by the onions market, land is cheap and there are no young farmers taking over dairy / small farms. Well yeah I never claimed they did. Young people are stupid and inexperienced, that's also why the democratic elite wants to decrease the voting age to 16 because they know young people will vote for them. It's close to impossible to turn the youth to the right when you have the largest social media outlets, mass media and Hollywood constantly bashing their heads in with liberal brain damage... so I don't doubt that for a second. But the thing is, they won't stay stupid forever and humans tend to "rebel" later in life against the shit they felt forced to support, which is why the votes between the two parties has never really shifted too much.
