Because if you draw 7 fib lines (0 through 1) and have a, for example, +- 3% tolerance around each line for seemingly relevant price action, you've labeled 36% of all possible prices in the selected range as potentially significant. Add multiple time frame fibs onto this and you're closer to 50% or more, which means you will notice a lot of 'interactions' over time.

Doesn't mean it's bullshit to use for trading though, it's good to have fixed prices around which you can make bets.
