Why are people so cynical and reductive about big blocks and BSV? All of these "experts" saying it wont work or be seen as valuable seem like they're talking out their ass and haven't really explored what's possible. Meanwhile, people are building real stuff that works today (Twetch, Streamanity, 21e8, unwriter's tools) and it's like they have no idea or don't want to admit what's happening (real innovation and network effects).

It's honestly pretty fascinating how the entire crypto industry has attempted to insulate themselves from all this. They think that BSV will just disappear one day or become irrelevant, and they've been saying it for over a year now. But they just keep getting stronger.

>craig is a scammer

If he wanted to scam people, he would have exited years ago and not put millions of dollars into proof of work mining. He would have just made an ETH token and disappeared. There is clearly something bigger happening here.

How long until creg/nchain delivers?
I'm tired of watching BSV flush down the plughole and the total lack of announcements.

btc thought leaders are paid by the industry that bitcoin makes obsolete namely the socialist financial and data institutions. It's astroturfed.

Look at coingeeks conference vs btcs. There are no real people in btc

That really seems to be the case, doesnt it? They just think it will go away if they keep calling it a scam

But noone is actually talking about what "decentralization" actually means... if big blocks are bringing in hundreds of millions of dollars every 10 minutes, it's not hard to imagine there being hundreds if not thousands of huge mining facilities around the world just like Satoshi talked about. I am not convinced that say, millions of home nodes all connected to the same Cloudflare/AWS infrastructure is actually any more safe or decentralized, it just seems fragile and vulnerable to a huge zero day exploit or something.

>>17868016

How do they not see that this is what's going on? All the VC money coming into BTC and ETH is from large multinationals that would be threatened by the big blocks model, it's so obvious

It's a good thing that BSV is supported by bigger players than this then. I get that I am supposed to have patience, that this is years, decades in the making but fuck.

See that's what im talking about, and you're wrong. Everyone I've talked to that doesnt follow crypto or BSV thinks Twetch is really cool and wants to join. I'm pretty sure they just hit 10k users and I see new users every time I log on. This is not the case with LN or anything being built on ETH or BCH.
