Can you believe this is all over saving a few tens of thousands of boomers lives? If the countries would have let nature run its course the economy would have only tanked just slightly, but they fucking shut everything down and efficiency drops to 0% instead of 40%-70%.

It's not just about saving tens of thousands of boomers lives. If they don't stop this virus from spreading the death toll is going to be way more massive. It could also become a seasonal bug that never goes away, like the influenza virus, except this one has a 7% kill rate.

7% is one of the highest figures of any country affected, with 90% of deaths with the infected 55 yo and over, with preexisting medical issues. Don't scare monger.

Agreed, but it's a pretty valid excuse, whether it was engineered as such or not.

All I did was divide the total number of deaths by the total number of recovered. It's been between 6 and 8% for weeks now.

Very disingenuous, there are undoubtedly countless people that have had CV and not been tested. That's why people who's job it to actually look at this pin the mortality at around 2.5%, while pseudo on the internet pull out numbers from their ass

2.5% mortality with this level of contagion is still devastatingly horrible news.

It wouldn't have a 7% death rate once most of the population is immunized.
The biggest problem with covid is that the population has 0 immunity to it so everyone is rip for infection.

The crash has been in the making since 2008.

2.5% of 7 billion people is still 175 million people you spastic.

Obviously cause for concern, especially as we have no cure, no immunity, and sources are now saying the virus has apated slightly, so there are now two strands to "cure"
