Basically, just like you didn't think #Bitcoin and #Ethereum could drop 40 and 50 percent in day, violate the longest term trendline, etc. You probably also don't think it can keep going down and down eating through thick bid walls bouncing a bit, then cotinuing to drill down. You earn money from BTC by buying/selling at the right time, you don't price it in by how much wealth it generates (because the asset itself does not generate anything, you make money by timing things right). It's not line stocks, land, bonds where you have a yield and you can just predict the value based on inflation, demand, etc.
