Can a socially isolated, mentally retarded, skilless old neet find a job?
Is it even possible to get a job when you have multiple years of employement gap?
This is a business & finance board so i assume that the thread is quite related, but i could be wrong since i have the intellectual faculties of a down syndrome kid.

there's always the second job market, where do you live?
if you go to a job center they might get you into training or an easy low wage job.

Yeah get your hygiene right and clothes that fit properly. Then apply for everything and expect a whole lot of embarrassment and failure along the way

Yes but i'm talking about easy jobs that even a retard could do, one could learn the skills necessary to perform the job very fast. Things like cashier, dishwasher, janitor, etc.

Yes warehouse worker, custodian, and dishwasher are your best bet. I'd choose custodian out of all those though.

>warehouse worker, custodian, and dishwasher
They all seem to ask for previous exp and references.

>> No.17631152

There are positions that are entry level and require no experience. Often times they'll just have those experience and reference spots as it's normal for any application. Amazon Warehouse will hire anyone with a pulse regardless of work experience. That might be your best bet. FedEx Warehouse was the same. They didn't care about references. I got my current custodian job at a university without any prior janitorial experience. Shit is easy just try it. Look for ones that specifically state entry level, or ones that are specifically open for people with job experience gaps.

you could ask your relatives if they can get you an entry level job where they work, otherwise it won't be easy. Could also look for unpaid internships if you can afford to not get paid, it would at least pad out the resume
