Bought my first Bitcoins in late 2013. Made massive amounts in 2017 by trading a lot. I bought a bunch of Nano (RaiBlocks back then) when it was 2000 sats and I also bought the ChainLink presale. Those are my two biggest winners by a good margin.

As for advice, I don't know, to be honest. Nothing really comes to mind other than the obvious "do you own research" thing. In 2017 I spent a lot of time on this board, but would always just use it to discover things and then go confirm and research things on my own instead of blindly believing things. This is a lot more important now than it used to be back then too because of how this board has basically become a ChainLink cult.

>>17614141
Yeah, I'm really fucking greedy and it's fucked me over really hard in the past, but I can't seem to help it. I'm in the process of fixing my stupidly risky portfolio though.

thanks for the advice, anon and congrats on making it.

I'm actually holding 4.2 BTC but I've got a grip of EOS ($10k worth) that I'm trying to offload. just not sure if there will ever be a bail-out. been holding them since summer of '17 but I got greedy and held too long and fell for the mainnet lock-in meme.

should I keep waiting for a small pump and put into BTC?

> This is a lot more important now than it used to be back then too because of how this board has basically become a ChainLink cult.

>should I keep waiting for a small pump and put into BTC?
Sorry, bro. I'm out of date with pretty much all coins I don't hold, since I've been more or less absent from the crypto space since the end of the bull run, so I'd be talking out of my ass if I were to give you any advice on what to do with your EOS. I'm only just now starting to get back into it since it feels like things are starting to move again.

I made a bit over $100K selling 1 BTC for RaiBlocks in Bitgrail. Didn't have the balls to do more because I decided to pay off my mortgage with the other BTC. My biggest regret is I should have have the balls to go all in on RaiBlocks. Still happy to have a paid off house although I still have to wagecuck. BTW, I found RaiBlocks here before it was shilled on reddit and I was smart/lucky enough to dump it at $24-28

Yeah, I found it pretty early through Twitter. Made some very regrettable choices along the way due to greed, but overall I made a lot on it, so I can't complain at all.

>>17615635
Wouldn't be able to tell you exactly why, it's mostly just a feeling I have. Of course, I could be wrong, but I want to make sure I'm prepared in case I'm correct. Besides, like I mentioned, I'm in the process of redistributing my portfolio now that LINK makes a too significant part of it, so it's a good time to start catching up on everything.

>>17615892
I was a depressed shut-in NEET leeching off my parents before that, so needless to say, my life has taken a complete 180 degree turn. I'm still in the process of fixing things in my life, but it's massively improved since and I imagine it'll continue to for the foreseeable future.

>>17616240
Check out the thread I made a couple of days ago with this trip. I had 1M when I started it. I bought a bit over 1.7M LINK in the presale.

>>17616349
I've already sold a good amount of LINK and will continue to do so until I'm happier with the distribution of my portfolio.

>> No.17617620

>>17617338
No, I've never tried it. I turned down chances to try weed when I was younger, and now that I'm curious about it and would love to try it, I don't have ways of getting it that I'm comfortable using. My country's about to start decriminalizing it though, so I think I'll just be patient and wait for that before I dabble into any illegal drugs.

How/where do you cash out?

Aren't you worried that your bank could freeze your account due to red flags when depositing large amounts?

>> No.17617899

>>17617737
Bitstamp. Initially I was worried I'd have to deal with that since I hadn't declared the crypto I bought and held from 2013 to 2017, but my country has a process you can go through where you can come clean and retroactively pay taxes, so I did all that before I cashed out significant money. I've since cashed out a 7-figure amount and it's all gone completely smoothly.
