Get your lube and your dick out and rub one off to these tables. Chainlink is already #3 in fucking volume, legit volume that is (excluding Tether for obvious reasons). We already made it, I made this thread when we were hovering between 30 and 20 in market cap and back then we were already top 5 in volume, now look at this. All these coins that are considered bigger than LINK have smaller volumes. Bcash, BSV, XRP, EOS, all that normie garbage has no volume compared to LINK. This isn't only /biz/ buying, there's big business being done. We already made it, another couple of weeks or maybe months and we claim what is ours, the #3 spot. And that won't be the end.

Also here's a fun little graph that you can jerk one off to as well, don't even have to give commentary. Speechless, thanks /biz/ for being on this ride with me since 2017.

... and right there is why LINK holders are delusional retards folks... They lack any understanding of the simple reality that an oracle is fucking worthless without an actual blockchain to interact with. You aren't going to overtake BTC/ETH/XRP/EOS and become #1 because LINK is worthless without them you stupid fucks.

Chainlink will be able to service all of them as long as they exist, which they won't. Network effects tend to wipe out competition fairly quickly once organic adoption happens which is currently happening mostly on Ethereum. But when Chainlink is servicing all of these platforms, it will contain a value greater than most of these single platforms. Who do you think is bigger... the oil provider or the single gas stations?

$100 million in global terms is absolutely jack shit, and that's why everyone buying at $4, or $10, or $20, should remember to be comfy as absolute fuck because when it comes to automating global exchanges of value through trustless software... we are all going to fucking make it.

It used to be called "Real10" or something. It only counts real, confirmed exchanges like Binance, Coinbase, etc. and there's probably more than 10 in their index right now. This is a good move tho because if you look on coinmarketcap, the highest volume is on exchanges nobody has ever heard of, everything is faked there to get real people trading on their to scam them basically.

High IQ anon chiming in. Gather round.

I’ve studied marketing and advertising psychology. Consolidation is a phase of infant markets, in this context, blockchain and crypto is still an infant market. It looks like there is consolidation around chainlink, as it climbs in volume. This is a good sign for chainlink. Look for coins that are gaining adoption as others fall by the wayside. Be careful though as there are lot of pump and dump schemes trying to create false perception of adoption to attract bag holders.

What happens as a market matures, 98% of the market becomes owned by a tiny number of players, 3 in mature markets. The break down is like this, #1 has ~60% share, #2 ~30% share, #3 ~ 8%, and everyone else fights over the remaining 2%.

This is a power law distribution, look it up if you don’t know what that is.

The crypto market is still new, but this trend happens in all markets. Only a few key players will remain 20 years from now (barring the invention of another forward leap and disrupting technology advancement). This also presumes that blockchain currencies will have widespread adoption, at this time that is uncertain.

Once a product is adopted in a mature market it’s dominance is almost impossible to overcome and new players cannot enter. Microsoft tried with phones and failed, Apple and Samsung cannot be unseated. Only disruptive technological advancements (like streaming destroying blockbuster and digital cameras destroying Kodak) or major marketing missteps can cause a market leader to lose market share.

In mature markets a lot of macro economics and company successes are psychological and peer pressure driven. People doing things and using the same products and services for not reason other than mimicking their peers. People don’t think, it’s too hard, following the herd saves mental power and reduces risk since others have proven it works.
