Chainlink price fluctuations, on the other hand, are integral to ensuring that token price can rise to meet the demands of collateral needed across the network. And I think part of the reason people think things like nano or whatever are so revolutionary is because the banking infrastructure in their home countries is fucking abysmal. There's nothing special about being able to send money between different accounts. Bong here, I can transfer money from my bank account to a friend's bank account for whatever reason and it literally takes 1 second, it's free, and I can do it with my phone. So why do I need something like nano? Same with payments. Unless crypto can deliver a solution that's as convenient as a contactless credit card, a lot of people have no reason to ever use it.

If this were 2017, I'd completely agree with you. However, a lot has changed since then. Scams still happen of course, but not nearly as often as they used to. The SEC pays much more attention to cryptocurrency and it's recognized as an investment. There are still scams that occur with traditional markets as well. Investing in penny stocks is just as bad, if not worse, than investing in cryptocurrencies depending on the company/coin. So yes, while you are correct in that scams do exist in this space, to call the entire crypto market a scam would be extremely disingenuous.
