are all of you guys retarded? Sergey said himself that the tokens have very little to do with his vision of building a decentralized oracle network.
the token's primary purpose was to raise funding to attempt to build this to change the way a lot of industries work for the better. whether or not link will be used in the end doesn't matter to Sergey and he's basically said this by saying that link token prices don't have anything to do with the network.
he has a brilliant vision which you guys helped fund, and if it works out, that's great for all the industries that this would help.
in short, trade the token like any other crypto and take your profits or suffer some losses. chainlink doesn't care what the price of the token is and are devoted to solving the oracle problem first and foremost, whether it be with the chainlink network or by helping build baseline protocol.
