>first american death from ncov happened a few hours away from me
>every single home depot i called is out of stock of n95
im gonna die, aren't i

Yeah but not because you didn't have an n95 respirator. Viruses are smaller than HEPA filters. They'll go straight through an n95 respirator. You can at least die knowing you didn't get ripped off.

>>17511613
that's verifiably untrue, though

You're gonna die because you think a facemask is gonna save you, instead of making other, much wiser preparations.

>The ‘N95’ designation means that when subjected to careful testing, the respirator blocks at least 95 percent of very small (0.3 micron) test particles.
>0.3 micron = 300 nm

https://www.pptaglobal.org/media-and-information/ppta-statements/1055-2019-novel-coronavirus-2019-ncov-and-plasma-protein-therapies
>The SARS-CoV-2 is a large sized virus (approximately 120 nm in diameter)

2 viruses could hold hands and skip through an n95 cuckmask.

>can block out >95% of 300nm particles, therefore it cannot block out any 120nm particles

Suppose the virus was 300 nm. Now suppose there are millions of them in the air. Would you feel safe knowing that only 5% of them are making it inside your body? Now think about real life where the virus is 1/3 the size of the particles used to test the mask and you'll understand how ineffective that respirator would be to protect you from the virus. Wash your hands.

First person died in Australia as well this morning.

A hairdresser also tested positive to it and could have infected over 40 people on Thursday.

Some of those people were tested and sent home because they didn't show symptoms. Literally 2 days after exposure when it takes 14 days to come out.

These people are gonna spread it to 1000's of people

Dual P100 filter Master race here, you probably should have been involved with manly hobbies that require high grade filtration if you didn't want to die from Kung flu. No need to panic buy what you already have. Good luck, I hope you survive and have the time to reflect on your life choices.

Eat some raw garlic and let that breath fill your mask. The n95 would be protecting Coronachan.
