That's the general feel at the moment, yeah. OPEC wanted to cut before all this which was why there is that hook in the oil chart from 50 to 54 before the markets started selling off and oil followed. Russia isn't steadfastly against cutting, they just prefer to wait to the last possible second to weigh in on a position as is their standard procedure. OPEC wanted to do an early meeting two weeks ago but Russia said nothing doing. Scheduled meeting is March 6th. We will all find out what's what then. For best chances of the oil price to rebound to low-mid 50's, the market should be crabby turbulent and not bleeding out straight down like this week. Yeah, I lived in Texas for a while and the local medic pay was like $16/hr. Yeah, I agree that there should be a lot more interdisciplinary training for pre-hospital and hospital providers. I know that some schools are triyng to integrate that now, because occasionally you get a nursing student on a medic unit for a ridealong, but it's not the same and they get their minds poisoned by the bitter old nurses or end up hating us because they get pumped and dumped by FF/Medic Chad.

While we're on the topoc of hospitals being overrun with patient because schizos are freaking the fuck out ITT for real, healthcare in this country and specially EMS is so disorganized. I'm not sure what the ultimate solution is, even the "best" EMS agency, King County in WA, is still a shitshow from what I hear. I think that educating people how to take care of themselves first and foremost and having low-cost primary care would do wonders to reduce the burden on EMS and hospital systems.

Up to you. Their stock hasn't been at this level since 2013. Insider buying was during coronavirus at 40+ share. And I honestly believe that the coronavirus is a tailwind for their business since oil has absolutely tanked and well fuel prices make up such a large portion of an airlines expense. As long as flights in US domestically don't stop I think its good value here.
