Get a job in sales on work commission. Never go uni unless STEM. Keep your living cost as low as possible and invest everything. Never stay home, be out and about, explore as much as possible. Work hard, it only gets harder to get ahead, so do it now and chill out later

learn a trade you can see yourself enjoying and go for it.
many people who end up doing IT or artworks like 3d design are self taught for example, so uni is not an absolute requirement if you can do the job.
i wish i did the same back at your age.

Females are risk averse and tech averse. Business owners are risk averse enough not to have wiring done by a diversity hire.
So there you go. 130k

Actual IBEW Union Electrician here. Been in the hall for over 5 years. For trades Union is MUCH better than non union, however depending on your area there might not be alot of work.

In our area they say IBEW stand for I Beg Every Winter.

HOWEVER that being said I usually make ~50$ per hour plus a 6$ every hour to my 401k, and benefits. ALSO when you get to work over time you can make Double Time, and up depending on the job.

So typically I work around half to 3/4 of the year and I usually make around 70k a year. Also you can hop on Unemployment Insurance when you're off and still collect money.

Great path through your 20's however unless you invest your money, or build a biz the physical labor catches up to you in your 30's

the real blackpill is that even a STEM bachelors is toilet paper nowadays without a masters and even THEN there are barely any research jobs unless you know someone.
Better off going into trades. You won't be a millionaire but it's still very comfy + barrier to entry and your job won't get replaced by Alexa in the next 25 years

No, the only ones who think this way are generally atleast slightly above average intellegence. They aren't intelligent enough to realize that they are the ones who need to breed like rabbits, because otherwise you'll have the insuperior genes spread quickly while the decent ones die off. The girl in OP is quite beautiful, her number one priority should be to reproduce as much as possible with another man with good genes and intellegence and ensure that those good genes don't go to waste.
Anon, you can be that guy, I believe in you. Trades jobs are pretty good, Chainlink will make you a lot of cash, just save and wait for the inevitable market crash and put some money in stocks for safer gains if you wish. I do think even a small amount of Chainlink, like 500, will make you filthy rich, though.

can confirm, engineer here and I respect my electrician bros. However, they do spend more time actually out in the field/zone/plant and make a bit less. That said, they dont have student debt so I'd say we're even for now.
