This is the fed and 1% scapegoat to collapse the economy and blame it on the virus rather than they themselves be blamed. The media will run with this as well to ensure not a single banker, broker, CEO, or other rich powerful cuck gets blamed. Meanwhile, people will lose their retirement and savings, their houses will be worth 50% of their peak value, and unemployment will skyrocket. Thousands of businesses will fail as well. This could very well be Great Depression 2.0.

This was a long time coming as the current system of QE, suppressed interest rates, repos, and all the other bullshit the fed has been doing was never sustainable in the long run. Prepare for things to get way, way worse before they get better.
