yes it's possible, if your bank don't provide you with the ability you need to sign up with a stock broker

a good place to start is with these stocks

these companies have existed for a long time and have not lowered their dividend payout in at least 25 years. they have stood the test of time and didn't even need to lower dividends during big market crashes, such as the one in 2008.

so they are pretty safe bets but please understand that there's no 100% safe bet. and they will still go up and down like "normal" stocks of course.

there's also lists of "blue chip stocks" that you can look up, they are also deemed to be "safe". but not as safe as dividend aristocrats in my opinion. there are many stocks that are considered to be "blue chip".

also keep in mind that dividends are nice but usually the stock itself loses value every time dividends are paid out because some people (bots) buy in to get the dividends and then sell after.
