Credit card churning is a way to cash in on a good credit score by opening cards with signup bonuses, meeting the minimum spend, and closing them after paying it off.

One of the ways of meeting this spend is by buying gift cards, and turning them into money orders at Wal Mart or your local grocery store. There may be other ways.

Let's say you can get a lot of unsecured credit, $200k or more. There's places where your primary residence isn't up for grabs against creditors, so you can take on a massive amount of debt, use it to pay off a house, and declare bankruptcy. After the dust settles you have a house in exchange for your credit score, which is a pretty nice trade.

Or, declare yourself a minister of the universal life church, which is very easy, and donate half your paycheck, which is the maximum you can deduct for charitable contributions, to your own church, and invest that in the stock market or crypto. It's tax free, and it's under your control since it's your chapter, and the IRS will leave you alone since they don't fuck with religion.

It's a lot harder than it used to be. I did a test run of one$500 card at my local grocery. I ended up generating like $20 in credit card points and paid $5 in activation fees for 15 min of real work which is neat, but I can't be arsed to do it again.

The benefit of using ULC is they already have 501c status and literally no standards or requirements for who is a minister. You just click a button on their site and you're done. You can even officiate weddings if you're willing to do some paperwork in your local area.

I definitely do the signup bonuses. I get tons of offers for spend x in n months get y. Usually at a ratio of 2 to 4 x equals y, typically stuff like 500 for 200. I keep the accounts open for a while, as long as there's no yearly fees, and stagger the closing as closing hurts your credit score. It's like living your life at 20% off if you spend on shit you were going to buy anyway.
