lol yeah, the market value of BIL rises during the month as interest accumulates. When it makes a distribution, the amount of the distribution is effectively removed from the share price. So you're selling and capturing the distribution that way. You could just hold through the ex-date and then see cash deposited to your account instead. Or see a reinvestment occur.

I dont see many people wanting to buy back in considering there is going to be a wave of bad news coming for the next 6 weeks.

Id short because i see another 10-20% drop or more, but I dont have the balls to keep a short position open for the next 6 weeks.

Most of the shorts who got in on monday had a good hunch and it paid off, tuesday was for the late stage shorting but at this point its just going to be a slow drip until people price in corona halting US production this spring
