That's one of the first use cases I envisioned for smart contracts (and my crypto holdings in general).
I want to keep my crypto secret, but I don't want to inadvertently take it with me to my grave.

So.. we need AI to provide information to Oracles about whether or not somebody is dead or not.. but what if the AI start buying and selling contracts amongst one another ...

you're memeing but if LINK actually starts getting real world data, you can make a staking system for real world bounties that trigger a reward for the staker who successfully gets right the obituary date of someone (hence, knowing when that person died because they killed him)

this way you can anonymously make a hitman pool reward where people contribute to the hit

How do you know when a person is dead? Lets say he doesn't have public facebook or other social media. Where do you get reliable data on that? If he was a famous person, then you could write an algorithm that detects from the news of various news medias that the famous/known person had died(or that there was a mass shooting in a gay parade, but that is more of an "terroristic event" market).

Have you never heard of an obituary? A death certificate? That kind of data being publicly accessed is probably right around the corner.

You are severely underestimating how far away Chainlink is to even being operational. By then we'll be having real discussions about big data/AI being able to reliably determine deaths.

you are a giant retard and describe a solution that is made obsolete by chainlink literally because it was invented for. central points of failures and current analog bureaucracy. there will be drones operating worldwide that will fly to the last known destination and will take a picture of the deceased iris, dna sample from the skin or hair etc. and if the body is in a closed location there will be a new type of industry for criminals that will operate devices that run a node and in the same time can be used to take samples and the criminal will be trustlessly paid in LINK tokens.

death certificate hahahhaha
