Protip: Buy anything older than 1970 or newer than 2000. Nothing in between.

go to a bank and get pre-approved for a loan first.

Move to a city. Work as a waiter and make $80-120k/year under the table. Living a shoebox with roommates so you can save 90+% of that income. Put every dollar into long term SPY calls (1-2 years out). After 3-5 years you should a few million if the stock market doesn't crash out right. Then move back to the south and buy your $150k house and never have to work again in your life.

Houses in between are more likely to have shit fail while you own them. If its in that range and extensively renovated, it might be fine, but things like well pumps that arent easily inspected or replaced are likely on the verge of failing.

go save 100k/150k like me, buy house without loan. means low montlhly costs for you so more income to spend on investing. Let the rentfags rent and let the loanfags loan and pay interrest.

any big coastal city these days. trumpflation has sky rocketed income in cities. that's if you have no college, if you have a bs you can literally job hop to 400k easily these days. sucks ass to live in a city but you only really have to do it for a few years, then 10x your savings in the casino stock market with long term options. and just pray trump gets reeleteced and keeps the fed printing that money.

Try not paying your taxes and see how long you keep that house
