It happened to me too. I eventually realized they were "marking" my account.

Be sure that you never publicly post your wallet address ANYWHERE associated with your real identity or on any of your social accounts, etc. Once they can link your wallet address to a real person or social profile, they can start attempting to get your private keys (phishing scams, etc).
