I meant when you started playing with crypto to begin with. They want every trade with timestamp and usd equivalence of the trades. Since you are botting they might go back and try to scrutinize past filings. Best to assume irs is a bunch of soulless kikes hell bent on ruining people. I'm kind of fucked there as far as determining usd value of each trade goes but next week I'm sitting with a lawyer to help me sort it out. I jumped on right at the ass end of 2017 bull and only put a couple thousand in, got serious in 2018, sitting on about 250k usd worth. Since it looks like this year they're really starting to focus on crypto I'm going to get ahead and get even my play money stuff right and carry the losses I can. Luckily it's mostly from just hodling but there was a little bit of jumping back and forth between pnd shitcoins. I don't want to lose my link stack just because of dicking around with xsn and ftm.
