Given the steaking announcement earlier, I suspect that is a hint of things to come. Oracle using it by 3rd quarter as well. Very possibly announcement of when steak.

A dreamer would also say all nda's drop as well. I doubt it myself. Additionally, I think will give an idea on steak but no specific date

Probably nothing burger and dump to $3/$3.5. Still holding on to my 2017 linkies incase of a surprise though. You never know, even 1% is too risky. I don't want to get left behind like the ETH suicide fuel pastas.

Chorus one announced will be offering node services. Look how steady tezos has been since Norman's could bake on coinbase. Imagine coinbase seeing others already are jumping in to support this. Imagine not saying soon they are working to integrate as well.

Either way, vertical fren

It’s likely to be even more of a nothingburger, just sergei and juels discussing its potential, how it will revolutionise shit, etc. Then the whales will dump knowing that people will gobble it up anyway

The meme with the low/mid/high iq curve in perfect display right here. This anon here has a 75 iq yet will make it nonetheless. Fren, I know you don't understand anything but you'll still be rich. But to save both you and us headaches please know your intellectual limits and stop trying to discuss these things with the rest of us.

I will try to put it simply for you. Node operator announcements have nothing to do with the development of staking, nor will staking be implemented any time soon or announced during the chat. It's the exact same generic announcement as the 50 previous node operators. No staking before 2021 or 2022. You can however expect technical discussions on mixicles, deco and arbitrum, sgx etc ie how to make contracts private, gas cheap and eth scalable.

>> No.17296678

>>17296526
Nothing in there says much about staking soon. Though im a bit confused as to what they mean about being a node operator given it doesn't appear to be what they do.

>> No.17296698

>>17296654
This is my feeling about this - though the painfully slow development of staking does concern me.

Staking without paying customers would be an absolute fiasco. Where do you think +5% roi need to come from? Any less and no one would bother staking. It's a very delicate chicken and egg situation. That's why they need first to implement stuff like privacy and scalability, integration with enterprise BaaS, etc. Chainlink is the backend of a backend, it won't be used unless the primary backends see usage too.

>> No.17296801

>>17296778
I get that but by the same measure how do you get paying customers without collateral? Something needs to be risked to get it going and instead we haven't seen a great deal.
