watch their progress on the coordicide.
decide if you want to hedge their development vs classic old blockchain development.

seems you are not really aware what happened.
there was a third party extension in the wallet (as in any other wallet), and this was used to attack some users of the wallet.
while the btc / eth users of such wallets got their money stolen, iota was able to stop the network, and recover their funds.
good thing

The IOTA developers are so incompetent that they don't even know how to develop a secure wallet. These niggas rolled their own crypto. Don't even get me started on the central planner or whatever it's called. What a joke of a "crypto"

audited multiple times by widely recognized security companies.
issue is not in the trinity wallet.
it is in a third party extension.

Do you mean IOTA wallets? Because I've never used a third party extension for any crypto wallet I've ever used. The wallet itself should provide all useful functionality precisely so that you don't have to risk exposing your keys to random third parties. The IOTA developers obviously never took a security 101 course.

Nigger I've been using crypto for 5 years. I've used wallets for BTC, LTC, NEO, EOS, XLM, ETH, NANO. I never once needed a third party extension for any of them. If a wallet needs a third party extension then it's inherently a shit wallet.

You are all retards if you think that this just affected a handful of users. Literally anybofy who has used the latest version of Trinity wallet can expect to have their seeds stolen, potentially 30%+ of all Iota holders. IOTA is quite literally, fucked. There is no way for them to stop theft of millions more as soon as the coordinator is turned on, and there is no way to fork or move the wealth out of the hackers hands. IOTA is literally finished.

I bought this shitcoin back in early 2017 and rode it to the ath. I had the coins stored on a desktop wallet and tried to send to binance to trade at ATH. The transactions kept failing. Week after week i tried to send to binance. Finally after a couple months after the price had retraced back to shit tier, i was able to transfer. Never again.
