>Also commercial flights are supposed to start this summer.
No, they were supposed to start in 2011 and they constantly delay it. While SpaceX has grown to the world's largest commercial launch provider, in the same period of time Virgin Galactic just made a few test rockets, one of which killed someone. You're not even getting Virgin Orbit included in the stocks, you're only getting the space tourism part that will remain unprofitable before being replaced by real space flight companies like Blue Origin and SpaceX that won't just go to the edge of space for five minutes but allow people to go to space hotels.

A huge percent of the current shareholders don't have the stomach for anything long term, they're selling right now and moving onto the next meme. You're buying the news, not the rumor.

People are impatient and want instant gratification. Overnight success stories like that faggot on WallStreetBets and Mark Zuckerberg are so few and far between, but they receive the most attention so everyone thinks that they can do it too. What they don’t see is all the suicidal motherfuckers who lost thousands or millions. Same mentality of why people play the lotto when the odds are beyond astronomical.

So I've been doing some thinking lately. With all the hubbub around this anime waifu taking over e thots on chaturbate, it made me realize something: furry sex dolls don't exist. We have sex dolls of course, we have anime dakimakura, virtual anime waifus on a 3d rigged model, standard hentai and furry porn, and fur suits. But no furry sex dolls? Idk I just feel like there would be a pretty substantial untapped market for that. Y'all wanna start a public company and start making some furry sex dolls /smg/?

>> No.17199282

>Elaborate, what do you mean?
Well, the other day I was talking to a family member who wanted to get into trading and they asked how much they could make. I mentioned the market as an important benchmark and threw out a few numbers but the person seemed really put off by the fact that they couldn't expect to easily double their account every year. I mean really disappointed by this. Disappointed at not making 100% a year. How do you respond to that level of delusion. 20% a year consistently is fantastic and most people cursorily would find that "disappointing" but if they made gains like that consistently for some years, especially if they started with decent principle, they'd be very surprised by the result. That's what I'm saying. If a normalfag doesn't find the yearly percentage "disappointing" it's probably too high. But do the math on these seemingly modest gains over the course of your investing horizon and, again, most normalfags would be quite surprised. That's much more realistic than "double muh stack every year until I have the entire world economy in my checking account" attitude a lot of people have. That attitude leads to funny loss porn though.

Our theoretical analysis demonstrates that, in the cities that saw double-peaked autumn epidemics, control measures may have been, if anything, too effective, stopping transmission so effectively that substantial numbers of susceptible individuals remained in the population when controls were lifted. This remaining susceptible pool allowed transmission to restart, leading to another epidemic peak and (in some cases) to the resumption of interventions.

Volume price trend (VPT). I like this indicator quite a bit. It can be helpful in certain cases where my usual suite of garbage doesn't work with whatever the stock's weirdo price action in. My normal stuff can do normal price action. VPT, on the other hand, is sometimes useful on hype memes. I suspect this is because it's way more reactive to volume, by design, than jerks around on the trading range. For instance, if a big red sell off candle has weak volume behind it, the VPT will tell you to hold. Useful.

Go on tradingview, bring up indicator menu, search "VPT", select Super trend VPT from the list. That's the version I prefer as it's a candle overlay rather than below chart thing.

It's a volume based indicator. For that reason, if volume isn't high enough to flip its buy/sell switch it will continue to indicate a hold. This happens mostly on a violent upwards move followed by a day of selling that gives away majority of the previous gains. In these cases I usually get stopped out rather than selling on a sell signal from the indicator as I prefer to secure at least partial gains on those big green candles, then buy back in after once things settle out more clearly.

In the future, you should try and have a plan when you go into something.
Setting realistic expectations and goals is the first step to success. And understanding what risk you are choosing to tolerate when you enter a position is just as important. Not buying something is just as important of a choice as buying something or selling something.
think of it like this
-Buying for reasons
-Not buying for reasons
-Selling for reasons
-Not selling for reasons
The important thing in each case is the reasons, the idea behind the action. You need to engage your decision-making process more completely.

now when the market opens back up, look at your ONTX position, look at the stock as realistically as you can and ask yourself, "would I buy this many shares for this current price?"; or "Is this really the stock I want to be holding with this money, instead of cash or other stocks?"
If the answer is 'no', then you should sell.

I appreciate your findings and info. It really shines light to how popular Snapchat has become and the direction it’s going for the future. I’m going to invest more in Snapchat as I do believe it to become more successful with its growing following. The thing about it is the way Snapchat works will always be something the youth are attracted to but then as the young get older they’ll still be accustomed to using this platform.

I want to inform you though.... being a Snapchat user myself, that’s not how it works. You don’t have to watch an ad after every snap or message. If you watch people’s stories between going to the next story you have to watch an ad. Then you have to watch ads throughout on people, businesses or things you subscribe to and try watching.

Who knows how Snapchat will change though. I always notice how Google, YouTube, Facebook, instagram, websites, blogs, videos and ect. start getting more greedy overtime or as they become more popular and pack more ads in.

Yeah true Snapchat is already changing to generate more income from there platform. You have to watch so much of the ad with a countdown before you can skip. When before you could skip right over the ad or choose to watch it. I look for Snapchat to start packing more ads in between stories, subscriptions and now every snap you do with your fiends or so often then eventually making them forcing you to watch so much too. Either way the big growing user base is a good sign. So hopefully they find a balance in generating profits and not losing users from annoying them off by ads. I’m going to keep using Snapchat to form my own option on how it evolves but as of now I think it’s a great investment.

Snap is too popular to start dumping hard, will only get more popular and is the type of company that will blast up if they finally crush earnings. Will they double in a year? Yes. The problem is though that it's election year and if a shocker happens they might just dump the market. I do think they will reach 35 before 2021 though, doubling in value is not a problem for a company like Snapchat, especially now that they will try to increase the revenue through ads even more and is actively trying to find new ways to increase it. Keep in mind that Snapchat is still doing bad in terms of numbers, but they are actively doing better and better. They exceeded the EPS predicitions but fall short on revenue, which grew 40% in 2019. So a beating of earnings in around the corner.
Remember that Instagram is worth over $100b as a standalone company (owned by Facebook) and according to a poll, 46% of US teens picked Snapchat as their favorite social media platform while 32% picked Instagram. Instagram had 400 million daily users while Snapchat had 225 million daily users, Instagram's US user growth rate dropped by ~6% while Snapchat's user growth rate increased.

So it's pretty safe to say that Snapchat should have a realistic market cap of $50-60b which would land them between $35-40 a share. But again, they have work to do in order to increase revenue.. but one beat and they will blast up because they finally proved that can be profitable.. just like Tesla did earlier.

>So far, only scattered cases of the coronavirus have appeared in Europe, but the economic effects are proving harder to quarantine. The shock may be severe enough to push the vulnerable German economy, and perhaps the entire eurozone, into a recession.

>That is the conclusion of a growing number of economists as it becomes clear that it will take weeks, at best, before the Chinese economy resumes its role as a prolific exporter of essential factory goods, and as an increasingly important consumer market for the rest of the world.

>“The longer it takes for production to resume, the higher the risks,” said Jörg Krämer, chief economist at Commerzbank in Frankfurt.

>For the chief executive of Daimler, one of Germany’s most prominent companies with several auto plants in China, the crisis is one of uncertainty.
“I’m calling China every day,” Ola Källenius said at a news conference in Stuttgart on Tuesday. “It’s too early to say if and how other factories could be affected. We are talking about global networks.”
