17137537 No.17137537 [Reply] [Original]

MoneyGram, an American Fortune 500 company with over a billion in revenue is USING XRP to settle transactions. This is the first actual case of literal adoption. Adoption doesn’t mean ‘we accept X shitcoin’ at a POS which instantly gets converted to USD by some 3rd party service, adoption is using the asset for the technologies it actually fucking has. Real-time, gross-settlement, that is XRP.

The adoption race has already finished, a lot of people here don’t even know what happened or what’s going on. Too busy tunnel visioned in shitcoinery. They didn’t listen when I was one of the first ETH shills either, too busy focused on fucking dogcoin and Lisk.

Can you imagine if any other shitcoin put out a tweet and said simply “We have partnered with MoneyGram.”? There would be 800 threads a day about it.

The Bank of England is a paying Ripple customer, is this not a big enough sign? You really think Ripple isn’t getting them into ODL (XRP) using this as a sample? How fucking naive must people be to think yeah, they’re working with Ripple, but they’re totally NOT going to transition to their pride and joy shining beacon of a halo product.

MoneyGram is a long dying buisness and is only “partnered” with Ripple because they bought 10% stake in MoneyGram 30% over market value with all the money dumbasses like you hand them. Ripple dumps BILLIONS of XRP YOY and employs massive shill farms over all social media so they can continue to dump their premined tokens and enrich themselves. XRP doesn’t need a high price to act as a middleman liquidity provider, it would function the same at 1$ or 0.1$. Also, with the way the governments are beginning to tokenize their currencies, XRP literally becomes worthless. If central banks mint tokenized digital currencies the use case for XRP literally implodes overnight. Either you are a shill or you are the definition of dumb money.

>Banks can create any magical token they want
nope. so many other coins have tried to replicate XRP's genius and failed. And do you realize how much money it would cost to create their own blockchain technology that rivals Ripple? Why invest multimillions in a token project when XRP is proven to work and proven better than 90% of cryptos on the market?

>XRP can be $1 or $.01
Nope. There are over trillion dollars worth of transactions going on in a day. Banks can not use the same XRP at once, and there is only a limited supply of a 100 billion. You need a high price XRP to accompany this.

MoneyGram IS a dying company. Their EPS has dropped nearly every single quarter for 10 years, they are about to go negative EPS. You look at the fucking financials idiot.

I never said banks I said central banks, you know the ones who issue currency? They can and absolutely are building their own and not to rival XRP, XRP Is literally useless once they are launched. China is launching theirs this year.

Once again, you are either dumbmoney or a paid shill if you invest in XRP. You cannot be anything else.

If MoneyGram is dying, than why millionaires investing multi millions in the company then

yes, the banks have to develop a blockchain. You seem to think this would be an easy task that requires no investment at all. Why would a major bank bother investing multi millions in developing a token that has a good chance of not being as good as XRP?

XRP is proven to have instantaneous transactions so far reported by the Moneygram CEO and already saves shit ton of money. Why in the name of fuck would bank make their own token over XRP? Do you even get what you are saying

>why bother investing in IBM, when banks can make their own computers?
>why bother investing in coca cola, when the banks can make their own soda to give to employees?
>why bother investing in electric companies, when banks could build their own power plants?

>> No.17137932

I’m not saying any old fucking bank. CENTRAL BANKS, the ones that issue a nations currency. Ripple is not a fucking national currency and sure as fuck will never be. Yes countries will invest in developing this technology because if they don’t they will lose currency positioning in the global markets. China, Russia, and Venezula have already done this. Once this goes live on a global scale the need for something like XRP literally vanishes.

Millionaires make poor investments all the time and 9M is a literal pittance of an investment its not exactly a stroke of confidence.
