- 1 week EMA golden cross happened this week.
- 1 week SMA golden cross will probably be next week or the week after that.
- Price is above all major moving averages on the weekly chart. (1w 50/100/200 EMA and SMA)

Gold looks stronger than silver.
The upward trend that silver is trying to confirm (by breaking resistance) ...the equivalent situation has already happened for gold, and it's looking healthy. Put the 50 EMA on the weekly gold chart, and buy whenever it touches. That worked pretty well (for both gold and silver) from 2003 to 2011. It might work well this time around too.

If you want to be aggressive, you can try buying Silver now. It's near a trendline support, and the 50 and 100 SMA on the daily chart have just crossed to give it some support underneath. Silver can still come down a little bit, but 16.70 should be the lowest it goes, because the weekly 200 SMA is there and the daily 200 SMA should catch it even before then.

Dropping down to the daily chart, you can see that it's in a tight consolidation, and it'll probably resolve itself by April 2020. If you want to play it safer, you can wait until it's over 18.50 and holds that position for a bit.

Keep in mind silver prices have been declining since 2011, and it's only now that things are starting to look long-term optimistic again. If they were creating artificial demand in the previous decade, they did a shit job of it. Silver was getting dumped for almost 10 years.

I'd be shocked if silver prices went lower than 16.70 this year, because the weekly 200 EMA and SMA are both waiting to defend that level. Also, as I've said before, the weekly 50 SMA is curving up, and weekly SMA golden cross is inevitable within 2 weeks and maybe sooner. The weekly EMA golden cross already happened this week. That's very bullish long-term. 2020 Might be the end of the silver bear market and the beginning of the next silver bull market.

This structure looks like 2003 again.
