Did I move too soon? Should I keep things international? I feel the stock market is going to tank when the full extent of this virus hits in a couple weeks and will possibly usher in the next recession.

I have some questions

Interested in doing a "long straddle" position on CVNA, I see that typically you pick the same strike price for both the call and the put. Say thats 85. Why wouldn't I want a 75 call and a 95 put? It's more expensive but safer isn't it? What are the pros and cons? I've also seen people do the reverse with a 95 call and a 75 put, and that seems like more profit but more risk. Do I understand this right?

Also, the put and call in a straddle end on the same date. Is there a benefit to doing this instead of having the puts be much shorter term, like 1/3rd of the time length of the call? The economy is on a wicked upswing...

Good job. Don't forget to get back in on the next dip (even if it's higher than your last sell)

I'm working out and slamming a protein shake right after. Dunno I stick to eating oatmeal and a banana in the morning and then workout for lunch between work and come home have dinner. Lunch is the most over rated meal of the day.

Entirely different focuses on their spin-off. No fucking idea where will woman-related cancers research go, since that’s one of the primary focuses of the new company (Women’s health) but Keytruda has been tested with breast and cervical cancer. I can say there are better treatments in other products. To be frank with you, they are trying to find which types of cancer are statistically recommendable to place Keytruda as the cure, and sex-specific cancers are not a really good choice. If you asked me which cancers are better handled by Keytruda I’d say head and neck, melanoma, certain (specific) types of gastric (not the majority, i.e. rectal area and colon). The drug really doesn’t do it for leukemia and stuff like that for example.
Novartis recently found a molecule that outperforms Merck’s against NSCLC (a type of lung cancer), so they need to play safe by emphasizing treatments on the studies that matter, and PR-proofing their failed trials by reporting small shit from them.

You're both technically correct.
Flu kills more people total because infection is wide spread because we take inadequate steps as a people to stop it.
Novel corona virus is more deadly (it has a higher R0 value) and is less well understood (with respect to vectors, transmission, mutability, etc) than H1N1 and H3N2 flu making novel corona virus more deadly and more dangerous
However because we're doing everything we can to stop novel corona virus it will kill fewer people (probably) than thus years flu

i know he's technically correct, my grievance is that he was saying that corona is a nothingburger. it's not even a fair comparison since flu death numbers have existed for years while the only corona death numbers are the ones we've been hearing about from china (who lie through their shit filled teeth). and those false numbers are only for a very short time span. as far as we know people can start dropping like flies in 3 months, this thing is new. also if anyone actually believe china's numbers about ANYTHING i have a bridge to sell you.

It's cheap. But how many people use cameras that aren't their phones anymore? Like, normal people, not the market gopro caters to. It'll stagnate.
