Sentinel is one of the initial members of the Blockchain Privacy Security Adoption Alliance (BPSAA). The initial founding members of the alliance include also include Pirate Chain (first project to have fully shielded transactions) and Turtle Node (highly noted for establishing stablecoin gateways to Waves).

sentinel has also launched a new website

By the end of 2020, Sentinel would have established:
> Private network integrations with several enterprises
> Integration with fiat payment channels
> Revenue model for dVPN bandwidth providers
> Tens of thousands of active daily users across iOS/Android/PC, 1TB + Day
> Active mainnet with dozens of reputed validators and a strong network bonded ratio

ARRR has some OGs from NXT , one of the most profitable icos ever made, they must have quite a lot of capital to pump any coin they want

pirate chain (ARRR) uses zk-snark without optional privacy so its partnership with sent will allow to pay for the dvpn with the most anon currency possible once cosmos IBC is deployed

Running a node is really easy. You just run their docker image and give it a wallet address.

It is still on testnet Samu. Volume will come with main net and monetization of bandwidth. Right now, it is accumulation games and speculation on profits from staking. I like how the best you can do is cry about volume as if you have more then $1k to trade with anyways.

My ROI is great. All of my biggest wins were low-caps, low liquidity projects hitting it big. Got into Cosmos ICO, attended multiple conferences, and now sitting at 40x+ returns. What is your ROI on crying in biz threads?

>> No.17091880

SENT is not a scam, they kept delivering code for 2 years with a very small raise of 1.89m$, new desktop client is the next planned release

>> No.17091989

>>17091880
Cosmos was very similar. They were consistently putting out testnets and developing, and took about 2 years to build what they have now. You couldn't even trade your ATOMS for the longest time. Idiots like the anons above would complain and cry about it every single day in the chats, and the smart money would keep quite and accumulated from weak hands. Now smart money has 40x+ returns. Same will happen with Sentinel. Orchid is at $260M mcap, and all they have is a shitty Android app. Sentinel is already so far ahead of the competition.

>> No.17092158

>>17091880
Thanks. I tried Orchid, but did not like it at all. Way too complicated. Does Sentinel use OpenVPN or WireGuard?

>> No.17092218

>>17091989
good point, long term opportunity seeking requires commitment and long term vision, if people can't see the value in actual users and a working product (which is more then 99% of crypto projects can show) then they don't deserve to make money.

orchid is not even a sentinel competitor imo, they are just a silicon valley scheme to dump on retail, proof is they had 2 years to develop a product with unusable UX.
once mid caps are done pumping it will be the time of small caps like SENT
>>17092158
first client uses openvpn, wireguard will be released in one of the next version (its on the roadmap)

It's very easy although their are a lot of glitches that have remained unresolved for months. You have to check up on your node relatively often if it has a decent amount of traffic because sometimes after being up for a few weeks it will just stop reading how much bandwidth you go through which is a pain in the ass if you're trying to hit the incentivization bonus. Also sometimes it will say it is active but no one can connect to it

>> No.17095365

>>17094945
1) dVPN nodes that contribute a bandwidth of 300GB or above within the month will receive $25 worth of SENT
2) Top 20% of dVPN nodes that contribute bandwidth (or) nodes that contribute over 750GB per month (which ever is higher) will receive $50 worth of SENT
Will try to set one up and see what happens

>> No.17095802

>>17089055
Devs in the chat also mentioned they are working on implementing a fiat on-ramp as well. Slowly everything is falling into place.

>> No.17095985

>>17095802
the biggest thing imo is the enterprise focused solution, it will allow any kind of entity like banks governments or consumer focused private company (gambling, online services) to offer private and encrypted communication and browsing.
legacy vpn providers will also be able to port their nodes to their own sent based private net, sent will win by assimilating incumbents centralized VPNs

>> No.17096632

>>17095985
Private nets is a good feature to increase adoption. A couple solid corporate integrations and the fees from staking can be very profitable.

Yeah I have and it's always ignored or pushed off til later. I know from talking to other node hosts in that chat that it is a common issue

I host a lot of the top nodes so this not being addressed is kind of worrying to me especially since I've been hosting for 6+ months and I still have to restart all my nodes every few weeks

>> No.17097263

>>17097220
I have been in the node chat group since the beginning, and I haven't come across anybody complaining about persistent issues that have been ignored. My nodes have had no issues, and know of plenty other hosts running without issues as well. Maybe you don't have it configured correctly.
