17078142 No.17078142 [Reply] [Original]

99% of the board seems convinced its guaranteed there will be another bullrun. Even though the market has flat lined for 2 years now and all the normies and boomers have already gotten ripped off and learned their lessons. Crypto is worthless and over valued as it is, what makes you so sure another bull run is inevitable instead of a complete crash. The hype for electronic currency is dead but maybe smart contracts could be the next crypto bubble but I doubt it because normies couldn't understand the implications since its a complex nerd backend thing. I just don't see how something like link could do another x10 before this whole space collapses, it'll obviously never flip Eth or btc. The only profitable coins are low cap pnds but picking the right ones in advance is basically gambling.

If you aren’t in it for the long haul and still buying you’re the normie.

maybe the internet will be the next big thing, but i doubt it because normies dont understand the implications since its a complex nerd backend thing.

newsflash, tech is dominating the world and "complex nerd backend" things are being explored and implemented at rates which you couldn't possibly comprehend.
literally yesterday i attended a webinar 2020 predictions for Splunk (industry leader in SIEMs) where they spoke about blockchain being the next big thing this year and beyond.

>normies learned their lesson because they got ripped off
Are you fucking retarded? Normies forget about how ripped off they get every 4 years when a new mouthpiece for Israel is elected for presidency, they also already forgot about a sand nigger that shot up a gay nightclub killing 50 people and about Epstein for the most part. They have the attention span of a gerbil and will FOMO in when whales pump it. Shits a 4 year cycle I shouldn’t be spoon feeding but most plebs are priced out anyways.

Define making it anon, idk if that alone will give you fuck you money where you can retire and never worry about finances again but it will put you 100x ahead of your peers. If Link is an utter failure we will probably only see $100 at the top but man I’ve got trump vibes from this coins progress in the last year on top of the meme magic so I’d say 500-1k is a real possibility. The memes alone from this coin are some of the most creative things I’ve ever seen on 4chan and I’ve been here since 2010.

and now, way up here at $9.3k, this board + crypto twitter are convinced the halvening is going to take us over $20k, and a bull run is guaranteed.
what comes next?

Pessimistic doomsayers don't really convince anymore.

Blockchain is not going anywhere. Digital currencies are beginning to become relevant. Facebook Libra being announced last year, etc. This is just going to FOMO in lots of new, naive money one way or another.

You are right in a sense that coinmarketcap and projects will look vastly different in 10 years

But you are naive if the money is just going to leave this rather new market. It's almost as stupid as some people were saying in the 90s that Internet will not exist in 10 years or stupid shit like that.

You are nostalgic about the last bullrun because there were bizarre projects you could make sudden 100x, I mean you could pick out coins blindfolded and made mad gains. You are missing that type of gains and I understand that.

You don't see the big picture and that is why you will never make it.

You are still looking for those low cap pnds and as long as you spend your life in that mindset you will never make it. I wish you the best kid.

It is 2020 and you still don't realize how important smart contracts are and the possibilities they introduce.
There will be another bull run. It will be fueled by defi and enterprise adoption. All of the focus for defi and enterprise adoption is on ETH.

After the 2013 MtGox crash, everyone said the same. I bought in in 2014-2015. It flatlined for two years, even plunging down to $160 long after I thought it was simply going to be stable for a while, then started taking off rapidly in 2016.

Yes, I think we get another major run. Because I think this will begin to become seriously adopted.

Bitcoin will go up to at least $50K, all the shitcoins and scamcoins will die, and then Bitcoin will continue to rise as acceptance and usage spreads in the real world economy.
