If you already owned assets (read: BOOMER) you're doing great for very little effort. If you came of age after 2008, monetary policy is fucking you in the ass so hard you're neck will get sore. The entire housing stock in America is being bid up by speculators tripping over each other to get passive income at the expense of people who actually keep the economy running.

You can now get ahead buying a hose or stocks at a 100x markup for what boomers paid for them, but they have access to unlimited leverage and you don't.
