I had over 30k in ARK and now its worth 500 dollars. Made me lose faith in crypto entirely for 2 years. I gained back confidence bought ETH and a small stake in a couple other established projects, I also sold mt entire ARK stack because I needed some closure and checking the price everyday was painful. I learned the hard way that HODL is a meme. Coins other than BTC and ETH are memes. The fact hodling btc and eth brought enormous gains to so many people is not the rule, its the exception and the chances of it happening to small cap coins are tiny. Even top 20 coins have achievede absolutely nothing and are up due to speculation.
ARK project looked ambitious to me but the team turned out to be incompetent potheads with no charisma. It left top 100 and is in the process of leaving top 200 as well. Their subreddit is full of deluded bagholders patting on each others back for having a good wallet, for v2.whateveritisnow released while the boat is sinking
