Is there any evidence Dave knew about bitcoin, besides what Craig has produced?

>> No.16913879

>>16913358
Its quite possible that Dave either bought or had an interest in mining. Just as we do have evidence of Creg buying on MtGox in 2013-2014 timeframe.

The most likely explanation is exactly what his mom said about him. Creg took some small piece of truth (Dave + Creg buying btc early on and maybe doing some mining) and then spun it into a whole delusional web. Think of this when you read the quote from Cregs Mom:

"Wright’s mother had told me about her son’s long-standing habit of adding bits on to the truth, just to make it bigger. ‘When he was a teenager,’ she said, ‘he went into the back of a car on his bike. It threw him through the window of a parked car. That’s where his scar comes from. His sister accompanied him to the hospital and he’s telling the doctor that he’s had his nose broken twenty or so times, and the doctor is saying “You couldn’t possibly have had it broken.” And Craig says: “I sew myself up when I get injured.”

For me, there's just too much of a chance that Craig and Calvin are telling the truth. I loaded up with 500 BSV as a hedge against my BTC stack. I mean, what if he really does unload 1M+ BTC and crash the price before the halvening and then nobody can mine it profitably anymore? Right?

Its ok you are hedging, I get that...but you need to ask yourself 1 simple question: Does Craig have the type of personality who could restrain himself if he had the keys? Craig would sign every single day....every morning Craig would issue a new edict on twitter signed with Satoshi and his sig.
You can't have it both ways anon...you can't have satoshi is this reasonable calm engineer type circa 2012 and fit that with the raving lunatic egomaniac promising the moon in 2020.

But why would he sign now if he has them? If this is all real, he has 1M+ BTC to unload. Why crash the price? Why cause BSV to skyrocket? Doesn't it make more sense that he does exactly what he's said he is going to do? Unload it slowly and then crash BTC when the reward gets cut in half? Again, by $ value I'm more heavily invested in BTC, but from a common sense point of view I just can't see what CSW has to gain by lying. It's obvious to see what the BTC folks have to gain by discrediting him. And I don't even understand what BCH is anymore...that's actually what I flipped for my BSV stack. So as long as BCH doesn't end up being "The One" I'm okay. :) I hold XRP and ETH as well, though not much ETH...

See, I wish I knew more about you and your background. I got into crypto kinda by accident when a few of my customers said they would only pay me in BTC. That slice of revenue wasn't crucial, so I ended up just accumulating BTC back in 2016 and onward and learning about the magical internet money that I now had. I've spent some and I've sold some when it was life-changing, so now I'm good to just hold and see how this thing plays out. What's your story?
