I asked myself the same question in 2018 when I had $100k to spend. I lost 70% of it on Ethereum and bad trades.
If I could go back, I would have spent at least half on stocks. And then DCA $500 a week on Bitcoin and Ethereum.

imo there are a few (low cost) things that can drastically improve your quality of life:
* a home if you are renting
* time if you are building a business
* occupation change to increase cash flow
If you are looking to just invest for the long term, dca (dollar cost average) into your chosen coins or stocks over an extended period. What you buy and your risk tolerance should be derived soley by you. Personally, I only invest in futurism things and I don't buy things I can't control 100% - tech coins and saas recurring revenue sources. Metals and index funds are for other people. I also don't do stocks because fuck that boomer market.
You should decide what you value though.
Either way, I would look into AI based offerings. Robot trucks, ML companies, startups & coins (AGI and all crypto, really).
