good to know some kind people still exist. Sadly, the world aint like that. You see, some families are better to stay poor. They just cannot handle wealth.

I will tell you how to start: Do not give a fuck about money. It may seem counterintuitive but think about it, if you had to chase it then it means it is running away from you.

It is like the reward of hardwork... you may be thinking "promotion", but no.. it is more work. People who do not give a shit about their work gets all the pay and promotions.

Until you can have the right mentality, the money will come. I was once a poor too, but then I understand it is either me or them, might as well be me. Wealth is a zero sum game. If this world have 2 dollars and 2 people. I have to take 1 dollar from the other person for me to become richer.

I made a mistake of letting people notice I became richer like from nothing. Now I only meet fake people who are with me just for money. They thought I am going to give them ways on how to make it but no.

Every rich man have this problem: How to maintain their wealth.

Most people struggle to manage monthly finances let alone large sums of wealth. Drop 5M into a middle class family without the discipline or perspective I can’t see it lasting.

Take that 5M and help dozens of hard working poor and you’ll find one or two who will shoot right past the comfortable middle class family and eventually employ them.

I’ve only had my business for about a year and I don’t ever see becoming a million dollar business, but I’m going to use it to piggy back off of and grow my personal wealth through other means.

i am saying you should be careful on how you want people to perceive you, because this factor alone can greatly affect your near future outcome.

Why do you think ferrari chooses their own buyer? Why premiums fashion brand only use monochrome typefont? They associate social status to attract more rich buyers.

You can do the same thing using people perceptions. If you want to be a manager, you have to make others think you can manage things, figure things out. Same thing goes if you want to be a boss, you have to be certain that others are willing to follow your orders than the higher ups will notice that you have influence among the workers.

You either have funding up front (savings or loans) or the entrepreneur has bootstrapped their way to the point where they hire to off-load tasks so the entrepreneur can go out and do more profitable tasks (get more business vs BS accounting).

The hope is that when you hire you have cash flow to justify it or the entrepreneur gives away their cut because they can bring more cash in (eventually) by offloading the tasks.

It's called value creation. Imaging a desert island. Living there is one negro (you), when one day, a white man (me) washes up on shore.
The negro sleeps naked on the beach, eats raw shellfish and coconuts, sits around and complains a lot.
Down the beach, the white man sets to work: using his knowledge he builds a hut, and a basic wood and grass bed to get his body off the ground at night. He creates a fishing net, grass clothes to keep the sun off his disadvantaged skin, builds a fire bow and after furious rubbing , has heat and light to boil water and keep away bloodsucking insects which are sapping the black man's energy (even though he is privileged to have thick skin and stronger body overall). Wooden shoes protect the white mans feet so he can explore more and, wow, find wild pigs, which he cleverly constructs a deadfall trap to catch. After much patience, applied knowledge, and effort, he is hitting in his house enjoying a roast pork feast and relaxing on his comfortable grass bed. On this island he is "rich". Down the beach, covered in sand and big bites the negroid is watching him eat. "Duuuh, wealth is a zero sum game. If this world have 2 dollars and 2 people. I have to take 1 dollar from the other person for me to become richer" he says. His wrong opinion ensures he will stay poor forever.

It is like the housing bubble, even hookers bought 3 terrace houses and 2 condo units, cause the hooker thought that she can sell those for profits. If you just follow blindly what the rich did, you will just be trapped in the bubble.

The bullshit talk you want to evade is "work harder" or "work more than anybody else" because this kind of talk boost the poor's coping mechanism when they are working for the rich, and supply of labors in check.

This is absolutely critical. If you really are the scource of the value, you must capture some of the value you create, and not let it be captures by others, like Tesla famously let Edison do.
Crypto helps with this, because you are no longer having to pay a trusted 3rd party.

The opposite actually. I felt more like an outcast and not normal..
I didn't think I was smart until 6 years ago.
Even after that I continued to underestimate to what extent.
I then found out that all my friends were gifted, however those friends had a part of normie tier friends which was not my case, and they showed a reduced and often frustrating amount of ability to think despite being gifted...
I only finally understood the reason when i read that you could only be friends with people who had an IQ differences of less than 15, and read a few stories of some Mensa members who still felt like an outcast despite being together with other gifted persons.

You don't understand the meaning of the Bell curve for people who are at the limits.
For someone with an IQ of 115, he can be understood and be friends with 47% of the people.
For someone with 130 this is only around 15% but it would still be every 6th person he meets.
When you have 145+ this number is reduced to 2% or less which is 1 person for every 50 in the best case.
What is the probability to meet someone like this in real life when you don't know about this and were not lucky enough to meet someone like this during your childhood ?
What happens is nobody understands you, but everybody hates you or tries to destroy you because from their point of view it is clear you are too intelligent and people fear those they can't understand/control.

Total net worth is just shy of $1M. I used an unusual loan structure to buy my house; if you include the full property value I'm at $1.14M, but I would discount it and put my net worth in the low $900k's.

I worked. My total compensation has varied between $60k and $110k/yr and I worked for about a decade after school so far. I invested in boomer level mutual funds and ETF/ETN products with low fees. Trading is a zero-sum game, so you have to win to make money. Investing isn't, you just have to not lose.
Be honest with yourself. I was. I'm not good enough to "win" at trading, so I had to take the slow path. I've got about 6-9 more years to get to $1.75M liquid investments + fully paid off house, then I'll figure out what I want to do next.

Wrong. Wealth is not solely money, but everything of value.
2 people, 2 dollars - I sell something i've built to the other person, they pay me a dollar. They then build me something i need, i pay them a dollar. we both own a $1 item & have $1 in the bank, We're both wealthier.

He is wrong about the zero sum game and that's why boomers in charge at large companies they don't own are so stingy. Crabs in a bucket theory combined with indentured servitude. If employees are paid too much, they have too much opportunity to grow and find a better job. Pay them little, and they can't afford to move, take investment risks, or even take time off to apply to better jobs. I don't have a million in the bank, but I 100% own a business worth over $1 million and I also own a few hundred thousand of my house and vehicles. So I have a net worth over a million dollars but I don't actually have that in cash and don't have to pay taxes on it until I sell it.

I married a girl whose family owns janitorial and environmental firms in my town. Her sister sold us a house and a business. I paid $75k for the biz, which is about what it was worth then. I lowered our prices and bid aggressively to get over a million a year in contracted sales. She taught me how to do the day to day operations as well as bidding and admin/accounting work. But I studied accounting in school and had been managing restaurants for 16 years before that so I had a good idea how to make money.

I hired my first person 2 years into owning. At first I hired her as a subcontractor because that eliminates the paperwork of taxes and workman's comp. But if you're self-employed you already know how to send quarterly payments to the IRS and how to buy workman's comp for yourself if you want it. So it's not a big deal to hire employees once you're in biz. You just need to learn labor laws and safety law in your jurisdiction. Community colleges offer classes on both subjects, and they're worth taking.

Despite having a million bucks on paper the biggest struggle I have is access to credit. Banks don't like lending to small business owners, it's extremely difficult to prove you make money and aren't just lying about your income because to some extent your numbers are pretty much whatever you choose to report. Second biggest obstacle is taxes, business owners tend to get taxed at much higher rates than employees.

Perks are numerous. I have a small fleet of vehicles for work. My business takes up about 1/3 of my house so it's paying 1/3 of my home expenses. I make my own schedule for the most part. If I make extra money it's mine. I get paid an extraordinary amount per hour.

Spoken like a true normie...

It is meaningless and very energy consuming to force yourself to copy the behavior of people who have no personal thoughts and mainly react the way they have learned in their childhood to events.
The bigger the IQ difference the bigger the differences in your perspective and communication will be.
You won't be able to speak of subjects which matters to you because the stupid people will see this as an attempt to sound smart and they can't focus for more than 5 minutes on a topic without getting tired.
This is the reason why small talk is their preferred communication topic.
Gifted people with an IQ>130 will also think in a different way which is extremely frustrating to normies.
When a gifted person talks of a subject this will often give him multiple parallel ideas which he will start to look into and will eventually derail the discussion into a completely different topic.
This is hugely frustrating to the normie as they are unable to process more than 1 topic and don't have this way of thinking.
Another example is the difference in thinking speed. When a gifted person understands something instinctively because his ideas go through his brain faster than the time required for consciounsness, the normie won't be able to get it and will often get lost in the discussion.

Finally forcing yourself to use a fake personality to fit in will only make you unhappy and tired.
The best option is to accept your difference and live with it.
Even if you try to fake it you will always do small mistakes which the normie will pick up on and will never truely be accepted in their group.

Also effort should go both ways. Asking a gifted person to fit in because he is smart is extremely selfish and shows a clear lack of respect for this person's personality as you refuse to acknowledge his difference.
If you force yourself to be someone else you will find out at the latest on your death bed that you lived a borrowed life from someone else.

Rich people aren't necassarily smart, nor do they necassarily give good advice. Anecdotes can be interesting, but quality advice is quality advice regardless. With that said, take mine with a grain of salt; I'm broke!

What I haven't seen mentioned yet is to work on scalable, non-linear income sources in parellel with a more robust, traditional career. For example, a software developer might work on some app projects (scalable, non-linear income) after work for years and finally get an explosive return, or set of returns, one day. Or a gas attendant might make music after work, and finally start seeing returns. etc, etc.

Some retard above mentioned thinking of cash flow as like electricity moving through a circuit, where you just need to attract it to yourself and enter some point in it's flow. It might be helpful to roll that over locally for awihle. I looked around my local area and found a need that wasn't being met this way.

I think the only other thing to add is remaining action orientated, just start shit and get shit done. Stop researching (unless you're risking a lot on your next move), start doing.

>>16819190
>It is meaningless
then why are you here whining about it? this conversation is much less meaningful than working on your communication skills. allocate your time and resources appropriately; you aren't doing so right now and that's indicative of low IQ.

>You won't be able to speak of subjects which matters to you
High IQ people pick appropriate topics and words for the context.

You are so full of yourself. Your problems are trivial, especially if your cognitive resources are more abundant. You're arrogant and autistic, regardless of IQ (which I suspect is just above average). And if you're going to "live with it" as you say, then stop shitting up the thread with incessant whining and actually live with it.

I find this with my parents too...
I don't even think I am *that* intelligent but it seems as if I'm on the edge of being able to have conversations which involves causal reasoning.

Oh, and I am a millionaire too.
I made about $10k from clickbait advertising on youtube in about 1 month at 17 y/o, I stole other peoples videos from other platforms and just got retards to click using flashy words which the Youtube algorithm likes.

Then I used this $10K to invest in a specific stock category and used certain techniques to beat the odds(won't go into details, I'm still arbitraging the shit out of this so I rather keep it under the radar).
Became a millionaire at 24 y/o, I have never worked more than 4 - 5 months with a regular job.
