>While he admits he misses being able to cook a real meal- though he's vegetarian so eats a lot of vegetables and nuts and can even microwave eggs- Luke doesn't see living small as a sacrifice.
>He loves living in the heart of New York City- his place is in Midtown Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen- and he likes paying just $750/month (cheaper than the shared housing he could find in the area).

what kind of mental illness do you call this?

Kek. While I've lived in smaller spaces, I was not charged that much nor did I share the bathroom with four others.

He was definitely convincing himself out was a good purchase like some of these bags

Why do people insist on living in cities they can't afford to live in?
t. Lives in a midwestern city with plenty to do, 150k population, and $500/month rent for a cozy single bedroom

Because they're so narcissistic that they believe that THEY deserve to live in the heart of the business and financial world even though in reality they have no business there, as proven by the fact that they live in closets like Anne Frank.

Lived in a shitty <<<microstudio>>> similar to this in my last year of college for about $800/month. Had to vacate the place and take the rest of the year off when I lost my scholarship mid semester. The boomers who owned the place went off on me and nearly had a heart attack after realizing that they weren't going to be receiving steady shekels each month. Didn't sign a lease contract. Oh well.
